My Story
Welcome home, Joey, as he just returned fully vetted from the awesome Vet Tech Institute. He is pictured with his bowtie that was donated by Tri-Kappa Shelbyville (they have hearts of gold) in memory of their sister, Jan Asher, who we lost too soon. There are various patterns and sizes. Adopt a doggo, get a Memorial bowtie too. Thank you Brynna for your pictures.
Joey is seven-months-old who was surrendered because his owner isn’t able to care for him. Previously to getting surrendered, he lived with cats (I’ll post a pic in the comments) and gets along with dogs. He is a high energy dog that just needs a bit of manners as he still likes to jump and weighing over 60 pounds, he is strong. Joey is neutered, microchipped through AVID, current on all vaccinations, housebroken, crated trained and heartworm negative. His fee has been waived. Joey was born July 15, 2023 so he still has a puppy brain and sometimes reacts before thinking ? He’s just a happy and energetic pit mix that needs guidance and love. Come and meet Joey Monday through Thursday from 10:30 to 4:30 or until 4:00 on Friday. Questions? Call the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter at 317-392-5127 or email me anytime at [email protected]. His fee has been waived. If you have breed restrictions, Joey is not the doggo for you. Thank you for sharing and helping us find love for our beautiful young dog. God bless you, chris browder
