My Story
Pretzel has become an outgoing and affection dog! He was the runt of his litter and shy, unsure of kids and big dogs. Now he looks for hugs and wants to meet everyone. Socializing was key!

Pretzel has a white belly and mostly black body, with a sprinkling of white on his nose. He is observant and cuddly – he likes playing with rope toys and chewing on sticks. He is the littlest boy of Buttercups’ Bread Litter but the only one with ears that stand (sometimes). He is quiet and good at entertaining himself, a true introvert kind of dog when he wants to be. He does loves exploring and going on walks, shy with new people in public but very affectionate with his foster family.
Now fully vaccinated and microchipped, he is 452 lbs and housetrained. Sleeps in a crate all night, he does like to talk. Birthday is 02-15-2023

From appearance, the puppies are a true mixed breed – we do not complete DNA testing but based on appearance, energy level and personality. The exact mix could be anything and full adult size is unknown – based on our experience with street dogs in Houston, they are likely to have some American Bulldog or American Staffordshire Terrier (we do not know who Daddy is). Mama Buttercup appears to be a shepherd chow mix with a long fluffy red coat and is only 55lbs.
