This website presents as the authentic Roku TV site, and automatically populates a chat window. The chat window connects you with a “company representative” who insists that in order to connect you with the Roku server, it will cost 69.99 USD. Roku specifically says on the activation screen that there is no fee associated with activating your account…the correspondence is choppy and the company representative is pushy to say “it’s just a one-time fee.” I got as far as giving our mailing address and phone number but no money exchange. This website comes up as the Siri Suggested Website, which made me not even think twice.
