Meet Benny, the adorable foster dog looking for his forever home! He is about 8 months old and we aren’t sure about his breed but plan on doing a Wisdom Panel. Benny is a bundle of sweetness and affection, always ready to shower his humans with love and cuddles. He’s a true companion who thrives on being near his people and his furry friends.
Benny has a playful spirit and would do best in a home with a puppy or another playful doggie companion. He absolutely adores playtime and would love to have a fenced yard where he can romp around and burn off his energy.
Now, Benny has a little quirk – he’s a bit of a collector! He has a mischievous side and enjoys “borrowing” toilet paper, magazines, and shoes, but don’t worry, he leaves them neatly in the yard for you to find. It just adds to his charm!
After a fun play session, Benny enjoys winding down with a good nap in his kennel. He feels safe and secure there, especially during meal times, as he prefers to eat in his kennel to avoid any competition over food with other dogs.
Benny is a smart pup who is making great progress in his potty training journey. He had a rough start but is now learning to do his business outside like a champ. In addition to potty training, Benny is also working on basic commands like sit, stay, leave it, laying quietly and walking on a leash. He’s a quick learner and eager to please!
One thing you’ll appreciate about Benny is that he’s very polite – he never jumps on people. He’s a well-mannered pup who just wants to be loved and be part of a loving family. He is good with kids of all ages and other dogs. He has not been tested with cats but he doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive so he would likely be fine.
