I was searching Hoover boards online for my son when a pop up said I had accessed malware. It instructed me to call the 800 number in the pop up. It was labeled Apple support. I called and a lady asked me to download a program on to my computer where she could help me. She then started accessing all my files in my computer and she would not stop frantically talking about how my information had been compromised. I hung up on her and she typed into my computer using her remote access the “You should not have hung up on me”. Her name was listed in the application as *** ***

Got e-mail telling me my computer is corrupted. Say’s Microsoft partner. Get in touch with ZoHo and they will fix it. Potrays service as free. It is not. They have you set up a remote control, then they show you what they found. Maybe true maybe not. Once they get control of your computer you are told , by the way it will cost $199.00 / $149.00. Seems like extortion. Should be required to give price before they start not start then tell you cost.
