This alleged business also provided a phone number of 816-688-3877. I was asked to pay a "settlement" of $910.80 on an alleged $1,000.00 debt from over 15 years ago. I do not owe any such debt, and nothing was provided in writing to me to prove there was a debt. I was told to provide credit card information over the phone, which I initially did, but immediately after the call, I cancelled that card, so did not suffer a loss. I was told that if I DIDN’T pay, they would file a lawsuit against me.
