Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received an email from ZEPHYR AD-Alex Jones saying that I could make 300.00 a week for putting an ad on my car. He sent a check for 2,999.40 . asked me to deposit it in my account and take out certain amounts and send it to some guy for the ad that was suppose to go on my car. The check came from First Commerce credit union PO Box 6416 Tallahassee, FL 32314. I was suppose to send 2400.00 to Jobim Seder Hyattsville, MD 20781. That’s when the red flag went up. Alex Jones email is VEHICLE ADVERT INC.<[email protected]> Anyway I took it to my bank and was told immediately it was a scam.</[email protected]>
