According to website, company owned by Marvel Markel (FAKE ADVERTISING. I ordered a free sample of youth cream and money deducted from my checking account under the name "wellness Work"? However, I also received eye serum (which I did not order in the same envelope) . The next day on 08/23/20 another $5.45 was deducted for shipping and handling per"Natural Lifestyle." On 8/25/20 "Lucioussmoohstore" (833-732-0463)deducted another $8.49 from my account with no product received. I called the last number and spoke to "Franci"…yes right. He said they were all S&H charges that I agreed to signing the contract. NO CONTRACT WAS SIGNED. Asked for his last name….not permitted…asked for his supervisor…not permitted. Foreign accent. I said I called Bbb and my husband was an attorney (white lie!) And he would hear from us. He told me he would deposit $8.49 back into my account. I told him we better receive this week. Something tells me this is not the only thing they’re scamming. 4 company names with all different phone numbers? Please help.

I stupidly purchased skincare product sample ($5.45) in response to internet ad. I emailed seller to make sure my order had been received because antivirus/malware systems (which have blocked legitimate transactions and warned that trusted state bar associations I’ve used for years aren’t legitimate) tried to block the transaction. Supplier emailed that I had "an account" for two products.

A few days later, I received two small samples–the one I ordered, plus another one, which was only $5.87. I didn’t do anything about the un-ordered second sample because it was less than $6. I called the seller because there was no info on how to purchase more if I liked the product–usually samples come with ordering info for more. This raised my suspicion. I was told that I had a "subscription"; when I said I didn’t want a "subscription" or any further products unless I specifically ordered them in the future, I was told by "Ken" from a third-party servicer in the Philippines that my "subscription" had been cancelled and I would not receive any more products.

About a week later, I received my credit card bill, listing both samples, PLUS a charge for $98.93. I called the third-party servicer, which was the only means I had of contacting the company. He hedged, lied, told me they could only refund $40 of my $98.93 even though I hadn’t received the $98 product–only the two samples that came in the same envelope. I called another number hoping to reach the "Youth Renew" company, which turned out to be the same third-party servicer, and I was offered a credit of $30. None of these people were legitimate. They tried to wheedle me into accepting a partial credit, put me on hold for a "supervisor" or "manager" whose English was equally poor, whose understanding of our law was unequivocally wrong, but who could do nothing but offer partial credits. While speaking with one on the phone, I received a voicemail that they were giving me a $40 credit.

I’ve since contacted my credit card company (unfortunately, instead of using AmEx which addresses this kind of thing promptly and with excellent results, my Citibank MasterCard customer service was manned by people whose English was laughable, who actually tried to tell me what U.S. law is [unauthorized practice of law], and who kept asking irrelevant and [censored]ic questions). I’ve written them, but I doubt that they have anyone with the intelligence to do what AmEx has always done–resolve the issue in my favor.

Having found the Arizona address of the seller, I’ve written them, but given the scam their servicer has tried to pull off, I’m not hopeful.

DON’T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. IT HAS MULTIPLE ADDRESSES AND MULTIPLE PHONE NUMBERS! Youth Renew’s servicer in the Philippines (or at least one of them) uses a Youth Renew email ([email protected]) and several phone numbers, TWO of which were answered by "Ken": 877-862-4405, 844-388-4949, 877-875-0184). These phone numbers are the ones given for Youth Renew itself.
