Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was supposed to be purchasing an 8 week old female miniature Yorkshire terrier. Initially I was told that the cost would be $500. $250 down and the remainder of arrival of the puppy. Roughly a week later I was sent an email stating that the remainder of the money needed to be paid before taking delivery. The remainder was paid through ZELLE from my bank account. At that point I was told through email that the puppy would be arriving on Friday Sept. 13, 2019 at Statesville Regional Airport and I just needed to wait for a phone call from the airport letting me know the puppy had arrived. I asked to drive to Morgantown, WV to pick her up and was told that they did not operate that way and that I would be putting the puppy at risk. I received two photos on Saturday showing pictures of items for a puppy and a small crate. The email said "Been waiting on you. I guess I have to take myself back home. Let me know whenever you are ready to receive your puppy." I emailed them back letting them know that I was ready and to let me know when she would be coming in. I then received an email with a document for me to sign ASAP to transfer ownership to my name. I signed and emailed the document back to the people.I was then told that I sent the document back to late and that I would have to wait until Sunday, Sept.15,2019 at 1:30 pm to pick the puppy up at the Statesville Regional Airport. At 12:30 pm on Sunday, I received a phone call from the transport company stating that I had to pay a refundable insurance of $620 in order for the puppy to travel. I contacted the breeders and let them know what was being told to me before the puppy could be sent. I was told by them that it would be taken care of, they would pay the insurance on my behalf and when the puppy and the $620 is delivered to my doorstep then I would be responsible for refunding her the insurance money. On Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, I was told that I have to pay the $620 to the transport company and if I don’t then I will be sued $10000 for abandonment of animal. I received an email today from a woman named Anastasia Anwi and the Heading is HEARING LETTER stating that I have to appear before the Disciplinary Board of the WV State Bar in the Boardroom on Monday September 23, 2019.
