The fax is from a "Yellow Pages Inc. Bulgaria, Varna, Vinitsa 9022, PO Box 4" We obviously get our bills from YP directly, this is not one of them. They sent the same fax to us two different times, knowing our business’s name, address, phone number, fax number. On the first invoice, there was a phone number, which I called. It was simply a voicemail disguised as a telephone service, one woman saying, "I’m sorry, all our operators are unavailable at the moment, please leave a message at the tone." Oddly enough, that phone number was missing from their next "invoice", though I have no idea if it relates or not. We know this scam is a pretty well-known one, we’ve looked it up in order to see where we should report it.

It is a collection warning for an alleged invoice for $496.95 for 1 year of Facebook and Twitter Features. It does actually say that the file is referred to debt collectors.

This is the second invoice we’ve received at our office from "Yellow Pages Inc", clearly a scam because the invoice is out of Bulgaria. Upon contacting the real Yellow Pages, they stated they do all accounting within the US and that this was definitely a scam. We received it via fax.

States it’s for Facebook and Twitter Features. Has our company name and address. They have listed a vendor number and order number, but we have never done business with them.

We receive these faxes that pretends to be an invoice. The first received on 4-19-16 and the second on 4-23-16- also received a bill through the mail. It’s clear that they hope that they get lucky and the invoice gets paid. We never entered into contract with Yellowpages, although a salesperson from a local office did call our company last week (Now sure if that’s related, but it seems coincidental. The salesperson said she was not sending them and obviously this address is in Bulgaria- not the local office. Their business reputation is being hurt by the scammers). The second one had the words "LAST CHANCE TO PROTECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE IN GOOD STANDING!!!" That seems especially dishonest.
