Type of a scam Other

I contacted the "seller/breeder" via email through the website (provided above) about a puppy that I am interested in buying, they said the puppy is very much available and that it only costs $400 (shipping included.) After I send my payment via Money gram to a person named "Damani Robinson," I received a "shipment information email" saying that the crate is not within airline guidelines, and that I have to pay an extra $660 for the new crate. Thinking that my poor puppy was stuck at the airport, I again, sent the $660 crate fee via Western Union, to a person named "James Reed" who was supposedly from the shipping agency. After the payment was cleared, they stopped communicating with me. The following day, I messaged them again, and they responded to me that my pet made it to Wisconsin, and is currently on hold because, apparently the puppy did not have a pet insurance. This was when it dawned on me that I just got scammed, because then, they are asking for $990 for the pet insurance. I refused to pay the pet insurance fee, and they said they cannot continue the shipment of my puppy. NEVER heard from them again, and lost a total of $1060.00
