Type of a scam Government Grant

A long time family friend asked me to accept a message. I thought that was something new on Facebook so I did even though I already message with her. She said, How are you today? She told me she had good news and told me about some money and a winners list and our names were on it and she already got her money delivered to her doorstep. 150000. I said it sounded like a scam and not legit. She said it was real and confirmed by her bank. She asked if I applied. I said how would they have my name if I hadn’t applied. She said she would forward me name of an attorney.

I am now reporting this. Stopping before it goes further.

Another message….I saw your names on the agent winners list that delivered my funds, Text the Attorney on (202) 996 2147, Larry Shaw. Text him that you are ready to claim your money.
