Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I got an email from Whole Foods Market Research telling me to go buy $2k worth of Ebay gift cards at Sam’s Club. Then I would go and read off the numbers to someone at Whole Foods Market Research. I would keep about $400. "Whole Foods Market Research" sent overnight through the mail a money order for $2,400+. Then I started getting texts to see if the money order arrived and what I was going to do with it. There are three different addresses. One is on the envelope, another is on the letter (from Philadelphia), and then a third from a different city and state. I called the ScamPulse.com from help. I live in Springfield and don’t want this happening to anyone else. I’m 38-years-old.
