Type of a scam Investment

I received a phone call advising me that I had a privileged holding of shares from a specific company that had recently been taken over (I had owned the shares mentioned but had sold them 18 months previously so my name was taken from the share registry) and was asked if I was interested in selling them. The caller advised me that they were a financial consultancy (Whitestone) working on behalf of a client that wanted to takeover this company by acquiring 60% of the shares and that they were asking shareholders to relinquish their shareholding. When I said I was interested the caller asked me to sign an NDA which I did. I was then sent an agreement to sell my shares for an attractive amount of money (about £35k). Only one catch I would npot only have to pay Whitestone commission but I would also have to pay a vendor bond in order to secure the sale. The bond was a large amount of money (£5.5k) and had to be paid before the shares could be sold. I immediately realised that this was a scam but played along and have an email trail, phone numbers, a website adress etc. The guys involved are very convincing and persistent. The key man calls himself Gary Nelson Dahlquist and his sidekick is Charlie Fernandez and they have a ‘secretary’ callad Sarah. They’re professional fradsters and should be avoided.
