It was a person on Facebook named Elizabeth Mercy whose name is similar to the corresponding email address. They message me on Facebook telling me about a job offer that was open and gave me an email address and an interview code to enter and told me that I would be starting the interview right now at 8:15 p.m. United States Central Time and that I could only do the interview via the Google Hangout app. I never saw a person’s face the profile picture on messenger what a cartoon kind of thing specifically a picture of the character Deadpool from the movie Deadpool, and would not answer when I tried to call via the Hangouts app. Then I told them that it was a scam and that I was supporting them to the ScamPulse.com they said that I was free to, seemed to become Disturbed and told me that maybe I did not need this job and that maybe I should quit. and that I would be the one to blame and immediately after this I was blocked by this person on Facebook messenger and on the Google Hangout app.

I was contacted via email saying they found me through Ziprecruiter. I contacted them back via google hangout as they requested. They then asked me some generic information about my clerical/computer/software skills. I gave them my name, addresses and phone number, no nothing else.

They then emailed me a check and told me to deposit it, keep some for myself as a sign on bonus then the rest would be to purchase supplies (computers, printers, etc) to do my job for the company from home. I became skeptical when they kept asking me the same questions over and over and the persons english was also very broken. They explained this by saying they have lived in Australia their entire lives…they speak english in Australia!

I then told then contacted the ScamPulse.com and was told to end it with them, so i did.
