Type of a scam Tech Support

My computer had a screen pop up and say I was at risk of having info stolen that I needed to call Microsoft and have the # he said he could fix it but I needed to pay for it, so I did he asked me to type stuff in to take control of my computer and did some thing ! About a week later they called back saying that my wifi was corrupted and that I needed to take care of that as well and that it would cost more but asked for me to keep him on the phone and drive to Walmart to get gift cards to pay them I knew better but did it anyway. Then couple weeks later they call back saying that the company is going out of business that they’re going to refund me money and that I need to pay them back for the new service I told him I didn’t have the money til after the 1st cause I wanted to see if they’d send money back to me, they did not! I unplugged my computer and haven’t been able to to use it since. They have called me couple times since and I blocked the number, today they called from the number above. My mother in law also had same people try this on her but my son was there to help her. The other # they called from was (844)462-9663!
