I received a Facebook message from a trusted friend about an endowment fund and that I was eligible for money. She asked if she could send my number to this guy and then I was contacted by a number asking for my info and asking to send money to receive a sum of $20,000. The token sum was $950 but I was assured that the pay off would be worth it. I evidently fell for it and sent the money and after that was not contacted regarding anything. I immediately knew that I was scammed.
