As reported by other victims, Waterford Management, Inc. contacted us under the pretense of expanding and requiring janitorial supplies. Their references and paperwork appeared in order. They even sent balance sheets and income statements which looked legitimate. We contacted the references by email, fax and voice. Again, they appeared and sounded legitimate. After their carrier picked up the order at our warehouse we tracked the pro number to Minneapolis where it was delivered to the carrier’s hub and then released to another trucking company. After receiving the shipment they immediately placed a second order which we did not ship awaiting payment for the first order. After they learned that we were not shipping the second order until payment was received they suddenly became impossible to reach by phone and their mail was returned as undeliverable.
