I got yet another one of those "your warranty is expiring, final notice" phone calls. Every time I tell them which car I’m calling for (because they have no clue, obviously, they hang up. Last year around November 2018 I said I had a 2019 Infinity. They hung up. Just now they asked which vehicle. I stated the same 2019 Infinity that I "just purchased over the weekend" and she hung up! Ha ha. Nice try. 2019 New Year resolution… scam the scammers!

I have been receiving many phone calls from a company representing themselves as the “Warranty Center”. They are attempting to sell me an extended warranty for my current car. These calls captured by my phone have originated in Mobile, Birmingham, and Guntersville Alabama. One of the calls specified GVC as the company. The others called themselves the warranty center. I have attempted to determine where they acquired their information pertaining to my car. Every time I question them the simply hang-up. I have requested every time that they stop calling me, but the calls continue.

Block the following phone numbers: 555-555-5555, 973-310-7834, 669-238-4308, 203-456-9891. It is a scam and not a legitimate company. So, you will continue to receive calls if answer and if you answer you lose because they will keep calling you from a different number. It doesn’t matter if you buy a car or haven’t bought one in years. The ScamPulse.com cannot do anything for you. It must be a legitimate company or you are out if luck. So phone harassment is my next step with the police.

A pre-recorded message stated that the warranty on my vehicle was about to expire and offered to have someone speak to me about renewing. I was asked "would you like to speak with a representative" and answered "yes". The line then disconnected.

When I answered, a robot-like voice said "Hello, this is Allison calling from the warranty center. Can you hear me OK?" I saw this on the news many times and apparently they want to record me saying "yes" to use for unauthorized purchases, etc. I just hung up.

Claim to be from a warranty claim for vehicles. Ask if you would like to speak with an agent. When I said yes, to inform them to take me off the call list, the call disconnected.
