Type of a scam Phishing

I have received a letter saying that an account was opened in my name. I have not applied for any account, not with this bank nor with Walmart. When I called the phone number above, the "supervisors" were each in turn insistent that they needed my Social Security Number and birth date, to be able to "disenroll" me. I was not willing to give out this information. Also the address to which the letter was mailed is not quite correct.
