Type of a scam Tech Support

Received a message on my computer from Google stating that my password had been compromised on my computer. Called google and was on the phone for 2 hours. Called phone number of 833-200-0447 and a women answered, she was foreign. This woman stated that she was google and that she would be happy to help me. This women asked me to stay on the phone. I saw where she got into my computer. I was transferred to a gentleman named Ronnie. Ronnie told me he was from the Philippines. They made changes to my computer. They stated they would charge me $400.00 for the changes that was made. They lowered the price to 309.00 I paid by Master Charge/Stein Mart Card. Once I realized this was a scam I called and cancelled the Master Card. The lady at Master Card said the currency was Chinese. Master Card stated that I would have to pay the 309.00 because I called the scammers gave them permission to get into my computer. My son came and picked up the computer to try and clean up my computer.
