Also known as the "white van speaker scam". Guys approaching you in the parking lot, selling a product for around $400, where the new price says $2500. Whenever you look up the product online for verification, they look pretty legitimate and convincing.

Two guys selling what looks to be a flat screen Tv with sound bar. They targeted me and my family while filling up at a gas station. They are very friendly and really know how to make a connection with you. I bet they are professional salesmen. They will try to sell you a TV and a knock off Gopro. The TV is really only a sound bar. The whole thing is a scam from the packaging to the contents of the product. They will even show you an invoice. These guys are ready for anything. Their story is they had a job to install these TVs’ at a bar and they have too much inventory. They say they’re just trying to get rid of them. Their goal is to get your cash as quick as possible. The guy I encountered is a stocky due with a goatee. He drives a gunmetal grey 4 runner. He has a buddy who works with him. Both guys are Caucasian and seem to be genuine guys but they are not. They are full of deceptions and probably have miserable lives. I hope these guys change because they are setting up a trap for themselves. My Father said vengeance is not mine so I’ll let Him deal with it, if you catch my drift. Just be in the look out for Vokel Media labs product. Its a scam

Someone went up to me at a gas station while filling up gas. Said he had extra tvs that he wanted to sell, because he had too many for a install in BWW in Irvine. After talking for a bit, I decided to take a glance at the tvs and it seemed unopened and decent. He even had a magazine that showed that the TV was advertised. The website at first glance looked really and I saw no scam when google. We decided to go to a atm machine next door to the gas station. Originally wanted $300 and wanted to throw in a off brand Go Pro. Luckily the ATM machine allowed me to only take a certain dollar amount out. I said $200 is all I have and he was okay with it.

I got home and decided to do some more research. Saw nothing about Vokel Media Labs, but i saw Hauss and a few others with the words Media Labs. Saw some Youtube videos and sure enough it started to all add up with the website and the word Media Labs popping up as a scam. They just changed the name of the box and website, but keep the name Media Labs.
