Type of a scam Employment

A lady called me to set up for an interview the next day at 55 Broadway she told me I needed to bring my ID, two references, SS and $269.00 to pay for my training if I get the job. I went to the interview it was smooth they asked normal job interview questions the guy that interviewed me told me his name was "sean" he told me I was hired and gave me a receipt for what I was paying for which was suppose to be for my fire guard training background check and the employment assistance. They claim to be under criminal justice and they help place people on jobs that’s open like hotels and offices thats associated with they business. They had me come back in another day to pick up a job letter to go to 9 Metrotech to do my fire guard but they never told me I had to pay when I there because they made me believe it was paid for already with the money I gave them but when I got to 9 Metrotech they told me I had to pay right there I contacted "sean" he told me I just to pay to get the ID card so I did passed the test I contacted "sean" and told him I passed it most of the time we talked through text that following week he told me I should receive a call for work which a did from a lady calling private she said she would set me up with work so wait for her call between 5-630 instead I got a text from "Sean" saying the job developer said to set me up with the millennium Hilton hotel the following week when I got there I was told I was like the 7th person to come there for an interview but they have no idea who or what was going on but there was no interview I called 55 Broadway to get in touch with somebody from vocational advanced solutions but they told me they were no longer in the building due to a lot of complaints I tried calling the number I had for "Sean" and it was no longer working. I had my doubts after the interview in the beginning and started doing my research I was the first to call 55 Broadway before they kicked them out the building and I asked questions about they business they told me they would investigate and if anything call me back but they never did.
