Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

I encountered Vital Source thru a website for entering sweepstakes. They have a section where they show you advertisements while you wait for your entry to be processed. The ads they show offer different products for ¨FREE¨ all you have to do is pay ¨shipping and handling costs¨. With all the hype about hemp products offering stress and pain relief I thought I would go ahead and try the VITALSOURCE CBD oil for a low cost of $4.95. I filled in the information and within a few days actually forgot that I ordered it…until a charge of $94.62 showed up on my bank account. Apparently the bottle was NOT free as advertised and I paid the cost of postage for them to mail me a substance that DOESN´T WORK like it says without getting any information on how to contact them. I had to Google the company in order to find a number to call to end up cancelling a recurring subscription and charge of almost a hundred dollars a month for 2 months for something that claimed was free. Don´t believe the hype, nothing is ever free! When I tried to cancel the bottle they told me it was to late because it already shipped. I told them I would return the unopened bottle for a full refund and again was told that was not possible because I did not cancel within the required 30 days when they knew it took over 5 weeks to send me the initial bottle. I ended up being charged for 3 bottles and had only received 1 bottle at that point. It’s a scam that preys on the people who don’t always read the fine print of free offers and those of us that aren’t always keeping an eagle eye on what comes out of our bank account. I got busy in life and forgot that I ordered it, hence for my negligence I paid close to $200.
