I listed my car for sale on craigslist and had multiple people text me posing as a potential buyer. I was asked to run a VIN or Vehicle Title Report’ via a website link for VIN reports that are not approved by National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS).
This is the website Brian (916-306-8873) insisted I use: www.vinverificationreports.com
He said that all other websites "are not legit" except for carfax and the one he suggested is cheaper.
