Type of a scam Online Purchase

We purchased tickets through viagogo.com for an upcoming show in Vegas. At the time of purchase, we were told that the tickets would not be accessible until 24 hours before the show. When that time arrived and we tried to access our tickets, they were nowhere to be found in our viagogo.com account. When we contacted the company, they could not find any record of our purchase, despite our credit card having been charged for them when we bought them. This company should be fined and forced to shut down, and it’s upper management should be held accountable for the fraudulent schemes they’ve been running.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS WEBSITE – RIP OFF! In my enthusiasm to buy tickets, I made the monumental mistake of not checking the concert venue website first. I was somehow redirected from a web news article about the concert to viagogo.com, by a "tickets" button, where (unbeknownst to me at the time) i was charged over twice the face value for my ticket purchase and THEN told the ticket would not have my name on it, but someone else’s (!!) AND that they could not tell me what seats I purchased, only in what section — and of COURSE when i did receive the e-tickets, they were in the very last row of that section. i.e. [censored] seats, compared to what I had thought I had purchased. All the seats around my ticketed seats were still for sale at a fraction of the cost on the original vendor website. Yes, my bad for not doing my do diligence by going there first, nevertheless DO NOT USE VIAGOGO.com unless you are desperate for a ticket and willing to pay for the nose- and not even know exactly where you will be seated. They do have a re-sell feature on their website which I attempting. However, I’ve already lost those additional fees they applied to each ticket ($11×4 tickets) and have to ask for twice the face value of the tickets (which I paid to viagogo before realizing actual prices) just to attempt to recoup SOME of my lost money. I am sure they are not operating completely illegally, yet it seems right on the edge – being completely misleading, shady and just very BAD business. Read their terrible reviews on line. I sure wish I had, before making this spontaneous purchase from them.
