Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

E-mail going around for “US OPEN” golfing car wrap advertising. They send you a check and tell you to deposit it and then take out your “pay” and send money to a car wrap “specialist”. They even send you a forged certificate from Shinnecock hills where the US open is actually held. Then the check bounces and youre out thousands of dollars. I was willing to try it as I am super broke but I knew better than to do anything with the money before the check cleared. After a few days it did in fact bounce and I was charged $8. Better than a few grand but still. Beware of any e-mail from a person going by David Gomez.
