Type of a scam Government Grant

I was contacted by a friend on messenger. They asked me if I heard about the good news. I said no and they mentioned the USAID Grant Money. They said they had an agent deliver a check for a large sum of money. They also mentioned they saw my name on their list to receive a check too. My friend then asked if she could send me the website so I could apply for the grant. I clicked on the website and was asked to send a friend request on facebook to the person from the sight. They then asked for my name, address, occupation, how much I made a month, my gender, age, if I was married,and if I rented or owned a house. They then said they would process this info to see if I qualified. They sent a certificate saying I qualified. I was to keep this secret so it wouldn’t get intercepted. I was given information to give to a ups man who would deliver my check in 7 hours. I was then informed I had to pay for shipping and case fees. I stopped everything after that and blocked them from contacting me anymore.
