I recently joined a FB group for dog adoption and there is this lady posting about yorkie puppies available for adoption.
Long story short, she claimed that she was in abusive relationship and just moved out to CA, she needs to find better home for the puppy. She send pictures and video of the puppy and etc. When I try to call her she always reject the call stating she was unable to take the call.
Everything is so quick, within the hour she already dropped the puppy at the delivery service and I got a call from a man (unknown name with foreign accent) who asked me to wire the shipping pet money ($300) to his Paypal or cash app. I actually tried to do that but my Paypal acct got blocked. The emails he gave me were flagged. So then he asked me to buy Visa gift card in Walmart and send him the info.
The lady reassured me multiple times that she is not scamming me and I need to pay the shipping fee right now.
I then realized this is most likely scam and blocked his number (google voice number) right away.
The lady name in FB is Elizabeth Watts
