Type of a scam Government Agency Imposter

Caller claimed to be from a US Govt agency representing Medicare and that I would be receiving a new 2021 medicare card in the mail with new benefits and I needed to sign the card to activate. I questioned the caller because Medicare does not call to advise you are receiving a card and also because its August. Gave the caller no personal info, including name. The caller refused to let me ask questions, said I was being disrespectful to a government employee and I hung up. I see this was a scam in the past.
