I ordered a quilted blanket from US Good Gear on August 3rd of this year, by credit card ($54.90) I was told that my order would be delivered in 2-4 weeks, which sounded like a long time, but I didn’t think much about it. I tried to track my order and I got a couple of messages that it had shipped, from where I do not know. When 4 weeks went by and still no blanket, I tried to login and track my order and the company website said that they were doing maintenance on its website (for 5 days) and I couldn’t check the status of my order, I finally sent 2 emails to the company this past week, and still no reply. Now I see that others have had similar experiences with this company. I have called my bank to see about stopping payment, but it has been a month. They are looking into this fraudulent company. With further research on my part, I found that there are 3 other companies that appear to be aliases to US Good Gear: The Campaholic, Supzily, Goodszily. All these companies are on Facebook, and their websites are identical to each other, selling similar items. I should have checked into this company before placing any order with them. The red flag is that there are no company phone numbers, addresses and they seem to be only on Facebook. I also contacted Facebook, but they said they looked into this and said that the company isn’t violating any of their rules so they aren’t doing anything about this:( I will be more vigilant when ordering anything in the future, especially on Facebook.
