Type of a scam Government Grant

Received call from a person saying he was calling on behalf of US FEDERAL GRANT AND TREASUARY DEPT. to inform me that I was awarded an $9,000 grant. Gave me a number to call with an award number. This gentleman could hardly speak English. I new this was a scam but tried to get as much info as I could. Call the other number to clam grant and asked questions. The lady who answered said they were in New York and I could call them at this number to verify 315-332-1364. BEWARE THE FEDERAL GOVERMENT DOES NOT CALL TO TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE BEEN AWARDED MONEY. First give away, PLEASE BE CAREFUL
