man said i was randomly selected to receive a government grant to use for unpaid bills and other necessities in the amount of $9,700 and since i did not have a checking or saving account they wanted me to go to walmart so they could put it on a gift card and i would need to send them $200 for a donation

Someone with a middle eastern accent calls from a Private number (and numbers listed above) saying they are with the US Treasury and I qualify for a grant. Once I tell them I know how grants work and that I do not and start to ask questions, they hang up. In response to the question below if the scammer attempted to take money, I never let them get that far.
