Type of a scam Tax Collection
Man with a foreign accent calls my house number, says he is David Foster ID # 10525 from US Dept of Treasury. Says that i am being investigated for federal tax fraud and being sued for back taxes I owed. I said I don’t believe him I want to see it in writing. then he said he will send a police officer to arrest me and they will show me the paperwork at the police station. I told him I don’t believe him and he hang up on me. I called back the same number. same man answered. When he know it was me he stopped talking.
