Type of a scam Employment

I initially applied for the position of "mail order operator" with Dorneo. I was contacted via email by Jeremy Davenport. I was told to complete the employee application and send a picture OF MYSELF HOLDING MY I.D. After completing the steps, I was contacted within two days with my supervisors (Jasmine Randall) information. Once I spoke with Jasmine(via email), she sent me my employee responsibilities, payroll information(i’d be paid monthly during my probationary period, then get the option of bi weekly once I get hired on permanently) ,and told me she would call me to touch basis and introduce herself and inform me of my responsibilities. we talked about 3-4 days after the email and I received my first order November 19, 2018. I was told to check the contents of each order, take pictures of them, upload the pictures to the database (shipping-crm.net), print out the new shipping label and ship it off. I was told to email payroll 3 days before my initial pay date (December 21). I emailed on December 18 and was told that since we had a holiday (thanksgiving) there was a delay and they’d be issuing a paper check in the mail December 24th. I was contacted by Jasmine January 2, saying she was closing my account "for the team to adjust it for business needs" and told me they usually do this when offering full time employment. I emailed January 7 to inform I have still not received my check. This was the last time Jillian from payroll responded, saying it was sent 12/24 via usps mail and to contact them back to get it reissued. I have been emailing up to today but have gotten no response.
