Received a phone call on my work line (318 area code) and I work at a state university. A gentleman told me his name was John Carter from UPS and that he had a package to deliver from Publisher’s Clearinghouse and that I was the top prize winner and had won $3.5 million and a new 2017 Mercedes GLA. The phone number 876-458-7651 showed up on my caller ID with the name JM Kingston. I asked him what I had to do to get the money and he took awhile, but finally told me to get a certified receipt from Western Union. When I asked for how much he said $399. I informed him that I would not be doing that and then hung up.

He talked really slow and seemed to drag out the information in order for him to keep me on the phone. When I told him I was at work, he asked when would be a good time to call me after work. I told him that I didn’t have time after work and could he give me the information that I needed now. He did give me the number that showed on caller ID and a badge number supposedly #3104.
