Received phone call from Samantha telling me she had a REO listing and she was looking for an agent to sell it. She asked extensive questions as to my qualifications and agreed I was qualified to handle all their requirements. The only requirement of me was I join their portal for $519.00. I did not question this as all REO listings are handled thru portals. I was already assigned the listing do there was no ridk as I would receive a commission when the property sold. This is where the problem started. After doing dome research I found the property was not a REO (bank owned) but a property in the foreclosure process due to be sold at auction on 11/17/2017. I continued to research the property and contacted the company doing the foreclosure who had never heard of either Livi management or United Default services. I got the name of the actual seller who was nationwide mortgage, now Mr Cooper mortgage and was told again the two Co’s I had dealt with were not associated in any way with the foreclosure and in fact all their foreclosures are sold thru Xome which is am on line Auction program. I placed numerous phone calls with only one returned call and the party I spoke to was of no help. She said it was a different department in another part of the building and gave me the phone number that never is answered. I will report it in any way I can to protect others from this fraudulent practice.
