Type of a scam Online Purchase

I searched online for miniature dachshund puppies for sale.

The first listing was for unique miniature dachshunds.

I opened the site and searched available puppies.

I found one I liked and made an inquiry via provided email.

The " breeder" wrote back giving me price and shipping details, but ignoring my questions.

The " breeder" offered free shipping if I made the payment today.

I became suspicious and did some more looking at the website.

I noticed a few things that didn’t seem quite right. ( different backgrounds and ages of pups, repeated information, mis- spellings, no breeder names listed. )

When I emailed the "breeder" asking for a photo of someone holding the puppy, they wrote back with a lengthy reply telling me to just " trust them" .

I asked politely , once more, for them to send the photo and they then stopped communicating with me.

I visited the bbb site and followed instruction for checking the domain for their internet address. It showed up as coming from Panama.

That’s when I decided to report this as a scam !!

My daughter and I almost spent our Christmas money on a fraudulent puppy !!

This is so sad and I hope no one falls for this !!
