The Ultimate Wine Run is promoting it’s 5k’s all over the country, and implying that it is raising money for charity. The event is a total scam, as you can see on yelp, and on the facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/The-Ultimate-Wine-Run-TRUTH-178977422472352/?ref=nf
They are scamming people all over the country. They have a Tri-Cities event May 14 (which is a MESS) and a Seattle event that has apparently been rescheduled several times already. They block people who complain and delete all negative comments off their facebook page. They issue NO REFUNDS.
The Denver DA is apparently investigating the men who are behind this: Aaron Scott and Don Phifer
