Type of a scam Employment

The scammers advertised a job offer through a local recruitment agency in Dallas which I applied for. I was offered the position of courier forwarder on a monthly income of $3.000.00. The job consisted of receiving packages at my home address and forwarding them to a a given address following duly paid label of FEDEX or USPS. The packages were duly delivered and I forwarded same as directed time to time. After about 3 weeks I received no further packages and this morning I tried to link up with them to know why I have not received packages for close to week and my salary is expected on 01/20/2020, only to realize that their site was no longer functional and my page had been wiped off.
