Type of a scam Phishing

I got a call yesterday, actually the call came through on my mom’s phone, telling me someone was hacking in to my credit and because of this my social security number was going to be locked. When I told them I wasn’t the one they were looking for that it must be my mom since they called her phone they said no it was me they were looking for a had the last 4 digits of my Social Security number. They also had my address. Mom and I live at the same address. They wanted other information from that I knew wasn’t right so I didn’t fall for it.
