They said it was a government grant but needed me to pay 100.00 in iTunes cards. that all went through but then they needed 300.00 more and they didn’t understand I don’t have that kind of money just laying around.

These people called stating they were the US Grant Department. They called me implying that this was a government grant i qualified for $1400-500 dollars because i was a full time student with no criminal record and had filed my taxes on time. It was a suspicious call from the beginning, the person who initially called explained everything in a hurry and just wanted to get my information she apparently already had but wanted me to verify. Do not disclose any information. This is a scam. I called the number they provided 206.2045052. The man i spoke to stated his name was Tim Johnson and was calling from the US Grant Department but then stated they were the National Institute of Health which both do not correlate in my mind. i called several times an was hung up by this so called tim johnson when i mentioned i would report them to the BBB.
