Type of a scam Government Grant

Consumer states that Ronald Steve pretended to be his friend, he hijacked his FB messages on messenger. Ronald Steve was writing messages to others and messaging with consumer, etc. He also took the consumer’s info he had listed in messenger.

Consumer has filed a complaint with FB,but it has been a couple of months and he never heard back.

He also said he worked with the US Government, listed that had ways for consumer to get money from government.

had 3 recorded phone calls today saying that me and my family was being investigated for fraud. Since I have not returned their call a lawsuit is being filed under my name by the US government. Said to please call 9202217017 to take care of this matter. They never mentioned my name in this recording.

Received a call from 236 547 8252 to inform me of a government grant . I kept the person on the phone for a few minutes and then informed the female caller that I thought I had wasted enough of her time and hung up . They called back and asked if I could hear them to which I replied yes I can hear you. It was too late till I realized why they asked.

Jason Cooper called to tell me that I have won $9,000 in a government grant. He gave me an activation code LS733. He said the only thing I had to do was call the (202)6708549 giving them this code and they would tell me what to do next. I called and they asked how I wanted my money, by money gram, government gift cards, or money orders. I told them I would take money gram. They said I had to go right now to

Walmart and pick up the money gram. I told them I couldn’t because I was cleaning and didn’t want my dogs to get in the chemicals. They told me to call back when I could go to Walmart and pick the money up. I know this is a scam because I work for Walmart and I have been trained to help people when they are sending money to other countries and purchasing money cards, gift cards or I tune cards to give these people the numbers off the I tune cards. Each card had to be either $25 or $50. and they would send them their money. I have stopped several people from doing this and I will be reporting any numbers I can get from these people that come to my store. I hate when these scammers take advantage of elderly people. He said he was Mark Wilson with USA government and had a grant that was being offered to me for being a good person who paid her bills. He said all I had to do was call 315 203-5312 ext 160 and the money would be in my account. I told him ok but did not call.

Type of a scam Government Grant

I received a call from Allen Cooper employee number 870103 from telephone number 202-780-5931. He told me I was being given a government grant for 9,000.00 to do with as I pleased because I was a good citizen. He asked for my banking information so the funds could be deposited. I was then supposed to go to Walgreens and send 200.00 for processing. While at Walgreens I was to call him back and he would tell me where to send the money. I believe this is a scam and will not send money.
