Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

Dear whom it may concern, I recently visited the USVI during the Christm[censored]iday. On my last day I visited a store called Turkish Grand Bazaar. I wanted to report them to you all for scamming me. I went to the store without the intention of buying anything. Orhan the store owner treated me to a Turkish tea and started asking me what I would like to buy I looked at everything and gave him compliments but he insisted that i take a look at the ceiling lamp and I called my parent and they said not to buy it. Orhan said well since they can’t see it, I will send you the light and will not charge you and I can return it back to him and he would give me his DHL account number. He asked for a method of payment and I said you sure you won’t charge me and he said yes and if your parents don’t like it send it back or change it. I didn’t not read the paper he asked me to sign because he said I can return it. Apparently there are no returns and he has been doing this type of fraud to a number of people. I did a quick search online and there are several complaints. He refuses to accept the return and has charges me $2100 for a ceiling light that is selling for $93 on amazon and $270-300 on his online store which I highlighted and attached to this. This is clearly a scam and he has been operating his business in such manner. I would appreciate it if someone looks in to this even if its not going to do anything for me. I would like to save other people from being scammed by this man that clearly targets people and forces a sale. I called to ask him to take the item back and it sounded like he was reading a script and he knew exactly what to say this is because he has done this before not to mention he said I am not a child and that i shouldn’t have taken his word and should have read the contract because this is business. He also would act as if he doesn’t speak English when you speak but he says everything he needs to. I understand the island went through some major downfall but this is not how you can get tourists to come back or make business off of vulnerable customers. I would suggest that you pass this on to anyone you know to prevent them from being scammed.
