BEWARE! Treasure Stay is a scam! They scrapped one of my listings for sale off the internet & put it on Craigslist to rent. It is a rental with another company and not them. The address is 5106A Gulf, South Padre Island, TX 78597. Do not rent this through. Treasure Stay.

Property is for rent but it is on another website and it is not available for the dates he claims they are

Trying to book, but looked this up and now I see this… Wonder if its the same Michael this is part of the email…

I found this listing on Craigslist for South Padre Island. 3BR 4Bath house on the bay for $160 per night. I google it to find more pictures of it to see if there was adequate parking area for my boat trailer and I found out it was listed for sale of $1,100,000.00. The contract they sent me didn’t say anything about sales tax. They wanted have down and the security deposit to reserve which was $550.00 and send it via Zelle or Cash app. the address of the house *** *** *** South Padre Island. Luckily God was watching over me and was telling me this was to good to be true.

This guy on craigslist has a bunch of properties listed for vacation rental. All of the properties are vacant and are on the market for sale. The prices were too good to be true so I called a realtor and found out that it is a scam. Don’t trust listings on craigslist.

I am the property manager/owner of a vacation rental, which is listing on this website without our permission. The website is http://treasurestay.com. On this website, they had a banner on my property stating

The website does not seem legitimate, such as their office address: 9101 LIPAN RD STE 111 HOUSTON, TX 77063. Meanwhile, on the website, the address was showing on the Manhattan, New York City map. When I googled it, it is the location of a shipping company in Houston. I suspected that the website just used some company’s address as theirs.

For detail of my house, it shows Michael Williams as an owner. It also appeared that this person, Michael Williams has been listing my house on Craigslist website periodically by using the same photos he is posting on this Treasurestay.com.

I have been checking and flagging, reporting about this scammer to Craigslist, IC3.gov numerous times.

Also, one of my friends, her vacation rental is listing on this website without her permission.

Advertising on CL multiple vacation rentals. The website seemed not to run right, I contacted the man "Michael Williams" he gave me the address of 211 Mustang Royale Blvd, Port Aransas , Texas 78373, and said that it was available the week I wanted. I continued to search other sites, and came across the same property, which was already booked for the week I was wanting. I received an email which I am attaching, and it was from a gmail account. He will only accept bank draft… obviously a scam. Here is the body of the email.
