On 24 July sales person from Travel Resource Vacation Club called my home – which is a National Do Not Contact phone number and has been on the Do Not Contact register for over two years ! When they attempted to sell me a regular vacation package I refused and tried to hang up but then they switched to another person who promised me a Dream Vacation anywhere I wanted to go. I picked Costa Rica and New Zealand. He promised me "on tape" that they would provide 5 day 4 night vacation in Costa Rica at a 5 Star resort "All-Inclusive " AND a 7 day 6 night vacation in New Zealand 5 Star resort "All – Inclusive" vacation PLUS a 3 day – 2 night cruise – all for $240.00 This was all on Tape

The ONLY reason I gave them my credit card was because they promised the two vacations at 5 Star resorts specifically in Costa Rica and New Zealand. Then when I called their reservation department I was told that they did NOT have any resorts in New Zealand and the only resort in Costa Rica was one that I had previously stayed at and it was at best a 2 Star resort. I immediately called them and cancelled the agreement (within 24 hours) I also called the Master Card company. I later discovered that the Travel company FRAUDULENTLY signed my name on the agreement so not only did they LIE about the service they committed FRAUD by signing a document that I refused to sign. They told the Credit card company that they provided me with the service, when in fact, the service they are willing to provide is exactly the service that I originally refused to consider. This is a scam against Senior Citizens. This is theft of $240 with the hope that we will never attempt to use the "vacation" since it really has negative value.
