I was busy, but picked up my ringing phone. A man said he represented a cruise line & asked if I could hear him. I said "yes" and proceeded to tell him I was not interested. That is when I realized he was a recording. I remembered hearing about a phone scam in which they try to get you to respond yes……but I just did it out of habit & was immediately aware of my mistake. Now I must watch my credit cards and bills for unwanted charges.
