Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

I receive multiple calls a day from "Joe" asking if I can hear him…then stating something about a travel plan. The calls are always from semi local numbers. I have received calls from Lebanon, South Lebanon, Middletown, Oxford, Hamilton…etc. It is a recorded call. You can tell you are being recorded. I never answer and always hang up. These always come to my cell phone, which is listed in the do not call registry. If I dial back the number, I often get nothing…no ring, no answer, no recording. Sometimes, there is a recording where you can leave instructions for a do not call internal registry.
