Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was shopping online for an impact drill. The next day an advertisement appeared on my Facebook page for just what I was looking for but at a much better price.
I clicked on the ad and completed the order.
I then received two follow up emails from
The 1st one stating " Your order 10950 has been successfully paid. We will deliver the goods as soon as possible. We will notify you through EMAIL once we have delivered the goods."
The 2nd email said " Welcome to Toshopagain.com family! We will use EMAIL as the most important tool to communicate with you. In order to ensure that you will not miss any important information, please add [email protected] into the list of your contacts."
It also included my username (email address) and a password I had used to create my account. It suggested I log in to track my order which I did a few days later. There was a chronological listing of the progress: Order rec’d on July 11, 2018; Payment approved on July 11, 2018; item packaged on July 123, 2018; shipper notified on July 14, 2018; order sent to dock; shipment accepted at dock; scheduled for shipment between July 21st – 25th; etc.
I tried to log onto the site "toshopagain.com" about a week later to check on status, but instead of their website, I received an error message…"We can’t connect to the server at www.toshopagain.com."
Unfortunately, I do not have a phone number.
My credit card was charged for $189.00 plus an international fee. It wasn’t until I saw the Int’l fee that I realized this business was in China (apparently)
