Type of a scam Moving

I found this company on Groupon offering an incredible deal. After purchasing the Groupon I was told they wouldn’t honor the deal for consumers but they have offered a better deal. They never provided any documentation for my move, right before the movers arrived I was told they require a $400 cash deposit that would be refunded after the move, and they showed up late. Upon arrival they began moving my items then asked me to sign a contract. I had questions about the contract in regards to additional fees for stairs so I called their office, dispatch, and talked to the "manager" that was helping with the move however no one answered my calls but the "manager" assured me that he would take care of my concerns and I wouldn’t pay over the promotional price. The first leg of the move when off without a hitch. The scam occurred when they arrived at my new residence and took all my items off the truck and placed them on the curb. The movers moved my couch to my apartment then left to get drinks at the gas stations. While they were gone they sent me a text with my estimate and it was well over the promotional price. At this point I asked to speak to someone about these fees before we continued the move. No one ever responded to my concerns and the movers stated they went to another job with my $400 cash deposit. I was unable to reach this company for weeks until one day I finally received a call back saying they wouldn’t give me any money back and that if I proceeded, they would come after me for additional fees owed.
